Exceptional views without the hard work!

Snowshoes offer a unique and hassle-free way to enjoy the very best of our stunning alpine environment. Our guides and equipment allow you to access the most impressive parts of the mountain with ease - parts that would otherwise require an expert level of alpine skiing ability. Unlike skis or snowboards, snowshoes can be mastered in minutes - if you can walk you can snowshoe! And our exclusive guiding access to the best parts of the alpine terrain means you escape the crowds and get the most spectacular views all to yourself.

This trip, based at Coronet Peak ski area,  is ideal for those who are new to snow or snowshoeing, combining a gondola ride up Coronet Peak and an easy snowshoe walk to one of the best view points in Queenstown. Let the gondola do the hard work to access million-dollar views of The Remarkables, Whakatipu Basin and Kā Tiritiri o Te Moana (the Southern Alps).

The walk is less than 2 kilometres over easy terrain, so a low level of fitness is required and our experienced alpine guides will be there to help you every step of the way. Allow 4 hours return to Queenstown with up to 2 hours spent on the snow. Minimum age is 8 years, minimum 2 people required per departure and maximum group size is 10 people.
